Meet Angie

Angie Klein Art Headshot

If you’re curious about what art might look like coming from a small town southern gal, then you’ve stopped by the right place. As my Mema would say, pull up a rocking chair, let me grab you a sweet tea and sit a spell.

Growing up in Plant City, Fl in the 70’s and 80’s was an idyllic place to cultivate my love of art and writing. Every corner had an orange grove, a strawberry field or beautiful pasture to let your imagination get lost in. I spent many a day doing just that.

Can you imagine yourself, walking barefoot in  the orange groves, the hot sugary sand squishing between your toes, the intoxicating smell of the orange blossoms filling your brain? Can you imagine lingering long enough to catch a bee buzzing about from bloom to bloom…pausing to enjoy their natural beauty and all of the whimsy of the scene? My books and my art are my way of drawing you into a sweet memory from my childhood  or a scene from my imagination and let them become your own. I’m hoping that they will allow you, the viewer or reader, to remember something that delighted you as a child or enjoy anew something you  may have started to overlook. I pray it helps you appreciate all of the wonder and natural beauty God has created around us. My goal is to pull at your heartstrings a little and make you either smile or giggle… or even better both!

So enough about me! Please do sip on that sweet tea (add a little kick if you need to, I won’t tell) and let yourself enjoy looking at my newest book and latest creations.
